Geoff Pearson attended Cockle Bay Primary, Pakuranga College then Papakura High School when the family moved to farm in Hunua. He spent school holidays as a camp councillor at the YMCA Camp Adair in Hunua and represented NZ in Wrestling. Geoff spent 2 years at Grafton medical school studying Physiotherapy but was hit by a car & sustained a serious head injury this terminated his physio career so he entered the world of orthotics and enjoyed the engineering challenges to create solutions for the disabled. He went travelling for 8 years ... sailing the Pacific to the USA, riding bulls to Maxi racing, then on to England & Europe, truck driving & property development to security training in Israel & salvage diving in the Bahamas branishing his cheery kiwi can do attitude.

Geoff joined Bungee Bats in Australia & setup the bungy site at Birkenhead Point, Sydney then later acted as a safety consultant for Bungy sites around the world including Australia, Bali & Canada.

Geoff also helped to organise, train staff & take part in the Commonwealth Game Bungy Opening Mt Smart Stadium. Geoff hating wastage & always looking for new ways to do things invented a new game using the disused bungee ropes and introduced it to the Mt Smart Social Club who all laughed at him. He weighed & hooked participants on to weight calibrated bungy rope and got them to run out & reach for a beer on a table .... they all loved it but laughed at him when he said he was going to take it into pubs & clubs as a promotion. He called his new game Horizontal Bungy ... and Geoffs next Company 3-2-1 Bungee was born ... this idea was picked up by a friend who worked in the UK with a large inflatable manufacturer" Playaway" Inflatables who manufactured the first inflatable horizontal bungy runs as well as building Geoffs other unique designs for gladiators, log joust, human fly walls, bungee O War & mechanical surfboard units.

3-2-1 Bungee was contracted by Tooheys Entertainment in Sydney & Geoff put together a portfolio of fun & entertaining activities to run as interactive promotions in the Universities, Sports Clubs & Taverns Sydney wide - including the Paramatta Night Club launch with Collette which became world news after the media heard that she was going to do a " real live" bungy jump -" horizontally".  Geoff was hired as risk assessor for the entertainment & recreation industry in Australia by Aradley Insurance & travelled to sites throughout Australia facilitating risk management & safe practices.

An inventor and innovator Geoff is constantly looking for smarter, safer & better ways to do things lead to his latest contributions which were both developed for outdoor events industry & farming ie The Airbarn Inflatable Shelters launched at the Mystery Creek Fieldays 2003 & " Piggystak" Electric Fence Standard Holder in 2007.
On a brief visit back to NZ on his way to Canada Geoff & Lynne meet and within a year they were both living back in Sydney with Lynne working at FUSS Beauty Therapy during the day & assisting Geoff with his successful 3-2-1 Bungee operation at night.  They worked well as a team & enjoyed the interactive & fun nature of the business which has become a lifestyle rather than a job.
Geoff & Lynne returned to NZ in 1995 & started 3-2-1 Entertainment which later became 3-2-1 Events to provide a wide range of innovative & fun inflatable activities for NZ families & business's.
The NZ market was more challenging for interactive pub & club activities as kiwis would rather have a beer & watch a band, plus having a young family meant the night club scene was no longer a desirable option anymore. This then set Geoff & Lynne in a new direction to provide activities for team building, school galas & community events. Working at Hotel Du Vin with Geoff doing Team building & Lynne Beauty Therapy they built a solid platform for their new business direction.

Geoffs parents farm in Hunua offered a great secluded team building venue with clients doing a short bush walk to the top of the Hunua Falls where all the activities would be setup, including Kayaks, Claybird Shooting, Archery  & morning tea delivered by 4 Wheel Drive over the hill which they still offer to clients today as a farm venue.
Geoff & Lynne sold a very successful 3-2-1 Events in 2003. retaining the Team building part of the Company & moved to the sunny North.  They had to re-brand with the focus of their new company being to provide quality adventure based learning equipment with set outcomes to raise self esteem & confidence and install team ethics.  With the sale of their previous business they were able to source the best quality & latest technology auto belayed rock walls from the USA and re-branded to launch ROCKUP Adventure Activities in 2005 ... ROCKUP & CLIMB ON!
After a year of operation with ROCKUP demand for their services grew and at the same time Geoff & Lynne were offered the opportunity to purchase an existing rock climbing business based in South Auckland Kiwi Rock Climbing which gave them an additional Rockwall to grow their business.  ROCKUP now has 3 trailerised Rockwalls, bungy trampoline, Dunking Tank, Mechanical Surfboard, Lots of fun unique inflatables & exciting activities to choose from, they are now sort after for programs & events NZ wide including the South Island NZ for the Recreation Expo in Christchurch.

Geoffs zest for life & broad experience reflects in his passion to ROCKUP & make a difference...
